EXHIBITS

AN INTERACTIVE EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE

The Hollywood Horror Museum (HHM) is an experience unlike any in the world, a “scary thrill ride” that also examines what frightens us and why. More than just a “Halloween Haunted House” or wax museum, the HHM will include life size figures and scenes from numerous TV shows like the Emmy winning American Horror Story and The Walking Dead to films like The Exorcist and King Kong. As well as celebrating the writings of Bram Stoker, Mary Shelley, Edgar Allan Poe, H.P. Lovecraft, Clive Barker, and Stephen King, to the classic Universal and Hammer films and modern horror like Pinhead, Leatherface, Jason, Freddy Krueger and Insidious. The permanent Hollywood Horror Museum is currently being developed in Los Angeles, California, while the traveling museum will exhibit around the world.

STEPPING INTO THE MOVIES

Exhibits will be environments with replica sets, props and brilliantly lifelike figures, accompanied by audio and video of the filmmakers and stars relaying “behind the scenes” about the films and props. Music and sound effects will accompany each exhibit. Guests are encouraged to dress up and do makeup as their favorite creature, or show up as some new creature.

FUN FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY

The museum will be appropriate for ALL AGES with two different sections: “Classic Horror” suitable for all ages and “Modern Horror” for mature and teen audiences. A group of children can visit Classic Horror and learn how makeup effects are made, while teens and adults can view the gore and sexuality of Modern Horror.

THE LARGEST HORROR COLLECTION IN THE WORLD

With the help of private collectors, filmmakers, studios, and special effects artists, HHM will display figures, screen used props, costumes and displays previously only seen in private collections and film studios. With intricately crafted sculptures by KNB Effects and other industry professionals, guests will feel they have walked into the set of Boris Karloff, Bruce Campbell or the cast of The Walking Dead.

RENTALS, WEDDINGS AND PREMIERES

Further revenue will come from private tours, rentals, screenings, live theatre and music events, the gift shop, café and rentals of the sets and rooms for Weddings and Private Parties.
