EDUCATION

The Hollywood Horror Museum (HHM) will be an experience unlike any in the world, a “thrill ride” that also examines “what frightens us and why.” More than just a “Halloween Haunted House,” the HHM will include mainstream Emmy winning TV shows like American Horror Story and The Walking Dead to films like The Exorcist and King Kong. Never before has a museum attempted to represent all aspects of horror, from the writings of Bram Stoker, Mary Shelley, Edgar Allan Poe, H.P. Lovecraft, Clive Barker, Anne Rice, and Stephen King, to the classic Universal and Hammer films and modern horror like Pinhead, Leatherface, Jason, and Freddy Krueger. The permanent Hollywood Horror Museum is currently being developed in Los Angeles, California, while the traveling museum will exhibit around the world.

DAILY MAKEUP CLASSES

Makeup classes will be taught daily (with makeup kits sold in the gift shop) showing guests the process of creating special effects: from drawing, sculpting, molding, painting, applying, and more. Guests will learn how one effect can take many artists months to create, and may only be seen for a few seconds.

PROGRAMMING FOR ALL AGES

Classes, lectures, screenings, and games will play daily for all ages, showing the history of horror in history, art, literature, TV and films, and how it relates to our daily lives.

RENTALS, WEDDINGS & PREMIERES

Further revenue will come from private tours, rentals, screenings, live theatre and music events, the gift shop, café and rentals of the sets and rooms for Weddings and Private Parties.

ACCESSIBILITY

The exhibit will be accessible to those with special needs, ADA compliant and will be available in a variety of languages through dubbing and subtitles.
